Dashboards#
Monitor ships with a library of pre-built dashboards. Each dashboard is a collection of related panels (time-series charts, gauges, tables) laid out for a specific operational concern. You can browse the library from the Dashboards menu in the Monitor console.
Pre-Built Dashboards#
- System Health — overall availability of your workspace’s services, resource utilization (CPU, memory, disk), and recent restarts or degraded-state events
- API Latency — p50, p95, and p99 response times for Novaza API endpoints, broken down by route and method
- Error Rates — counts and rates of 4xx and 5xx responses, with drill-down to the specific endpoints generating errors
- Traffic Overview — request volume over time, top endpoints by traffic, and geographic distribution of requests
Time Range and Refresh#
Every dashboard has a time-range selector in the top-right corner. You can choose from common ranges (Last 15 minutes, Last hour, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days) or enter a custom absolute or relative range. Dashboards auto-refresh at a configurable interval (default: 30 seconds) while the tab is open.
Customizing Dashboards#
Users with the Monitor Admin role can create custom dashboards, clone and modify the pre-built ones, and add new panels to existing dashboards. Changes are scoped to the workspace and become visible to all Monitor users in that workspace.
Exporting Views#
Dashboards can be shared via URL — the URL encodes the selected time range and any filter values, so the recipient sees exactly the same view. Panels can also be exported as PNG or CSV for inclusion in reports.
