Wallet#
The wallet is a prepaid credit balance attached to your workspace. You can top up the wallet with any amount, and the balance is automatically drawn down as invoices are issued. Wallets are useful for teams that prefer to prepay for service rather than be billed in arrears, and for accounts that need to cap spending at a fixed level.
Topping Up#
To add credit to the wallet:
- Open the customer portal at
console.novaza.ai - Go to Billing → Wallet
- Click Top Up and enter the amount to add
- Complete the payment with your payment method
The credited amount appears in the wallet balance immediately once the payment succeeds.
How Wallet Credits Are Applied#
When an invoice is finalized, Billing checks the wallet first:
- If the wallet balance is equal to or greater than the invoice amount, the full invoice is paid from the wallet and no payment method is charged.
- If the wallet balance is less than the invoice amount, the available balance is applied to the invoice and the remainder is charged to the default payment method.
- If the wallet balance is zero, the invoice is charged in full to the default payment method.
Viewing Transactions#
Under Billing → Wallet → Transactions you can see a ledger of every credit (top-up) and debit (invoice deduction) applied to the wallet, with the corresponding invoice or payment reference for each line.
Balance Alerts#
You can configure a low-balance threshold. When the wallet balance drops below the threshold, an email notification is sent to the billing contacts so that a top-up can be scheduled before service is affected.
