Subscriptions

Subscriptions#

A subscription represents your commitment to a Novaza plan over a recurring billing period (monthly or annual). Each workspace has exactly one active subscription at a time, and the subscription determines which features, quotas, and per-unit overage rates apply.

Lifecycle#

A subscription moves through the following states:

Trialing — a time-limited evaluation period during which no charges are accrued (if a trial has been granted)
Active — the subscription is in good standing and the plan’s features are fully available
Past Due — the most recent invoice was not paid by the due date; service may be restricted after a grace period
Cancelled — the subscription has been terminated and will not renew; access continues until the end of the paid period
Ended — the paid period has elapsed and access has been revoked

Upgrading and Downgrading#

You can change plans at any time from the customer portal:

Invoices#

Invoices are generated automatically at the end of each billing cycle. Each invoice contains the flat subscription fee for the upcoming period plus any metered usage charges accrued during the period that just ended.

Accessing Invoices#

All invoices for your workspace are available under Billing → Invoices in the customer portal. Each entry shows:

Invoice number
Issue date and due date
Billing period covered
Total amount and current status (Draft, Finalized, Paid, Void)
Download link for the PDF copy

Invoices are also emailed to the billing contacts configured on your workspace at the time they are finalized.

Wallet

Wallet#

The wallet is a prepaid credit balance attached to your workspace. You can top up the wallet with any amount, and the balance is automatically drawn down as invoices are issued. Wallets are useful for teams that prefer to prepay for service rather than be billed in arrears, and for accounts that need to cap spending at a fixed level.

Topping Up#

To add credit to the wallet:

Open the customer portal at console.novaza.ai
Go to Billing → Wallet
Click Top Up and enter the amount to add
Complete the payment with your payment method

The credited amount appears in the wallet balance immediately once the payment succeeds.

Customer Portal#

The customer portal at console.novaza.ai is the self-service interface for everything related to your subscription, invoices, wallet, and payment methods. It is separate from the main Novaza workspace so that finance and accounting users can be granted access without needing full workspace permissions.

Access#

The portal is reached at https://console.novaza.ai. Sign in with your Novaza account credentials — the same email and password you use for the main workspace. Single sign-on is used so there is no separate password to manage.
